How Rules Work

Rules automatically classify imported transactions by matching against transaction fields.

Contains - Field contains the match value
Exact - Field exactly matches the value
StartsWith - Field starts with the value
EndsWith - Field ends with the value
Regex - Field matches a regular expression

Rules are applied in priority order (lowest number first). When a new rule is created, it's automatically applied to all existing unclassified transactions.
